KATIE WILFORD

CO-ORDINATOR & CLASS LEADER

Katie was trained in delivering the Love to Move programme during the Covid-19 lockdowns and began leading sessions online at first with Gemma and Julie.


Katie also delivers regulrly to residents at local care homes. When not leading classes, Katie offers a private befriending service for older adults.


She also loves playing netball, the beach and baking!


"I love bringing these great classes to the community. I have seen first hand the benefits that regular participation can bring. No two classes are the same which makes it fun and interesting."

GEMMA COLES

CLASS LEADER

Gemma is a gymnastics teacher, working in local primary schools in Bournemouth. She became interested in Love to Move when it was advertised through the British Gymnastics Foundation charity.


Gemma enjoys the challenge of working with adults after 20 years of working with children, she is even known to take some of her Love To Move activities into the schools and try them out on the kids.


When asked what she enjoys about the sessions, Gemma answered "I love meeting and getting to know the new participants, I get a great satisfaction in seeing them grow in confidence in the classes and with their movement."

JODIE MEREDITH

VOLUNTEER

Jodie has worked for a private medical insurance company for 25 years and is passionate about health, welfare and helping people through the benefit of exercise. 


Jodie says "Love to Move was the perfect opportunity to volunteer helping people come together, enjoy exercising and have fun".


Jodie has two children, one of whom also loves to help at Love to Move in the school holidays!


She also loves being in the outdoors walking her dog.
